When we entered the elegant Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort on the southern peninsula of the island, we were greeted by a symbiosis of French elegance and Balinese tradition. The view of the vast ocean from the lobby was the prelude to a journey that far exceeded our expectations.
The signature spiral staircase, a hallmark of Sofitel hotels, led us from the lobby to the garden level where the impressive pan-Asian restaurant, Kwee Zeen, was located. The rooms and suites, with their elegant and contemporary decor, offered not only comfort but also picturesque views from balconies and terraces with rocking chairs overlooking gardens or pools. Some first-floor rooms provided direct access to the main pool, while suites and villas were equipped partly with private pools.
The extensive lagoon and waterway system pool stretched across the entire resort, creating a relaxing atmosphere. As guests of the higher room categories, we enjoyed exclusive access to Club Millésime, which offered complimentary wine tastings and cocktails.

The Kids Club at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort turned out to be a true paradise for families with children. With experienced supervisors who lovingly looked after the children, it not only offered a safe environment, but also a variety of activities that left no chance of boredom. Cooking classes, Balinese dances and dress-up games introduced the little ones to the local culture in a fun way, while the parents could sit back and relax.
The days passed with unforgettable experiences, moments by the pool and culinary highlights in the resort's five exquisite restaurants. Cucina, Kwee Zeen, Toya Beach Bar & Grill, LoH Bar and Le Bar offered a wide range of culinary delights and exquisite drinks. Particularly impressive was the concept of Manarai Beach House, operated by Ismaya, which created a beach idyll like no other.
In addition to all these amenities, the Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort surprised us with its own white sandy beach with plenty of comfortable loungers. The beach was like a private paradise, a place of peace and relaxation where we could enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest.
For those with a thirst for exercise, there is another exciting option: The hotel rents out bicycles to ride down the long promenade in Nusa Dua. This way, we also explored the surroundings on two wheels, enjoyed the fresh sea breeze and were inspired by the breathtaking coastal landscape.
Our time at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort exceeded the expectations of an ordinary luxury vacation.It transformed into an unforgettable family journey where the blend of luxury, exquisite cuisine, a familial atmosphere, and enchanting coastal areas was achieved in a unique and remarkable manner.
Every moment became a precious treasure in our memories and the resort surprised us with the highest level of hospitality and quality. We left this paradisiacal place with a smile on our faces, a firm decision to return soon and a heart full of gratitude for this unique experience.S
