The most beautiful and quietest rally in the world finished with an Award ceremony on 1st of
June 2024. in town of Šibenik.
11th edition of international “Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2022” started in Istria over
Dalmatian Islands Hvar and Brač stopping in Split, Trogir, Zadar and finished in Šibenik.
Seven days of driving on panoramic roads on the 1.050 km long route through amazing
landscapes and national parks with plenty of attractions on the route officially called “Green
electric route”. The official start was in the town of Rovinj with the accreditation ceremony
and fun program for all visitors and continued along the coast to Split where we boarded the
Ferry Boat to Island Brač. We visited Museum of Stone in Pučišća and Vidova Gora then
sailed to Island Hvar the following day. A stunning view from Fortress Fortica on Hvar as well
as the Natural beauty of Pakleni Islands left our participants breathless. Next destination was
town of Split where we displayed the vehicles in Harbor while our participants visited
Diocletian Palace, St.Duje Cathedral, Peristil nad even touched the thumb of Grgur Ninski
Statue for good fortun. We could not miss out on Trogir so a visit to St.Lovro Cathedral,
Palace Ćipiko and Fortress Kamerlengo. We also had to visit the town of Zadar with the most
beautiful sunset in the world, as Alfred Hitchcock one said was and Sea Organs, take a walk
on Kalelarga and Church of St.Donat.
Award ceremony was held in Šibenik, town rich with cultural heritage and several UNESCO
protected sights like Cathedral od St.Jakov and Fortress Barone and participants also visited
National Park Krka and MC Nikola Tesla in Smiljan, the birthplace of Nikola Tesla.
Luxury e-tour with its unique and innovative concept combines e-mobility, ecology and
green tech that offers its participants the best of Croatia cultural heritage, natural beauty
and wine/gastro experience promoting Croatia as an “e-mobility” friendly destination
creating a new “niche” in tourist offer.
The rally attracts a truly international field each year mostly from Germany, Switzerland,
Austria, UK, Netherland even SAD and Canada and we are proud to continue to promote the
best Croatia has to offer in tourism supported with our partners such as HTZ (Croatian
Tourist Board), FZOEU (Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency), local
communities and private partners such as Croatian Post. The Croatian Post has the largest
green vehicle fleet in Croatia, consisting of more than 420 electric vehicles. At the same
time, a network of charging stations for electric vehicles was developed, covering 18 cities
with a total of 115 charging stations.
